How To Find Convenient Freezer Foods That are Real Food

And That Are Friendly to Raw Food Principles.

  1. Shop in a Health Food Store, Whole Foods, or Similar.  I haven’t had much luck in my local traditional grocers in the frozen food aisle.
  2. Look for Organic, Vegan advertising on the package.
  3. Then read the label.  Look for WHOLE FOODS and fewer ingredients (less than 5 is great!)
  4. Read a Michael Pollan book.  If you’re short on time, I recommend this one: Food Rules, An Eater’s Manual.
  5. Here are two examples to get you thinking:
    1. Organic Sunshine Burger’s Garden Herb Burgers. 3 to a package. Ingredients: Organic cooked brown rice, Organic ground raw sunflower seeds, Organic carrots, Organic herbs and sea salt. See them here.
